The ADCNYS is a club of clubs with associate members and sponsors. It was registered as a non-profit in NYS in 1971 because members then recognized there is strength in numbers and advantages to unity.

The objectives of  the club are to promote responsible dog ownership and protect responsible dog owner interests. We do this by participating in the legislative  process through lobbying and educating and by coordinating with appropriate organizations regarding those interests.

This site will keep one aware of what’s going on in the state with respect to doggy affairs.  It will help you to monitor the Legislature’s activities and to monitor the status of the bills you are interested in. While our emphasis is on the state level, we are available to help on local and national issues too.
